Ringtones Review

I just got this phone a few days ago and i cant figure out how to change the ringtone (alert) to my sms (text) messages? Everytime it alerts me that i have a new text it has this werid sound and i want to change it. I have looked all in the book and i have used the help on the phone and i just cant figure it out? Thanks for the help!

I have a Samsng SYNC phone and was wondering how do I apply a ringtone that I have as a song in my Windows Media Player. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How do you change the ringtone so when someone call it plays music from my ipod? I can’t seem to figure it out. Having a hard time setting up the ringtone.

My cellphone provider has a somewhat limited number of ringtones to chose from. I’ve seen adds all over the internet for purchasing all kinds of ringtones.

Has anyone actually successfully used a ringtone that they have purchased online, other than from a cellphone provider? If so, were there any hidden fees? Which company did you use?

You can change the ringtones for myFaves, an individual person, for calls, but i havent figured out how to change the ringtone for texting. Any help? THANKS!

I’ve read in several places that one can make a ringtone out of whatever song we load up in our treo. However, I’ve been trying to do that and have yet to be successful. I’m wondering how I can do it. I have MP3 songs in there already, now I just need to make them ringtones. Anybody know how? Thanks in advance!

I’m just trying to download a couple of ringtones to my phone. I don’t want gimmicks or plans or free websites where I have to wade through advertizements and other crap to get a ringtone. Anyone know of a simple site where I can get a ringtone or two and pay for them individually?

I recorded a few sounds on my phone, and theres no where that it says I can set as my ringtone. Is it even possible? Do you have to download an application for it? Thanks, in advanced.

I just got this phone and can’t seem to find how to put one ringtone for one person and another ringtone for a different person. I was told that this phone has that capabilty and I want that feature. Do I need to download some software for this as well?
